Pride and Prejudice A Musical Comedy
Inspired by Jane Austen's masterpiece, this musical comedy is by Tara Raczenski. A marvelous Dinner Theatre Experience Highly Recommended by In The Wings GSO!
Pride & Prejudice at River Landing – A Must-See Performance with Heart
I took my son to see this wonderful Pride and Prejudice production back in February—and it was marvelous! Half the audience showed up in costume, which made it all the more magical. The energy, wit, and elegance of the musical performance brought Jane Austen to life in the most delightful way.
This time, the cast brings their talents to River Landing at Sandy Ridge for a special performance benefiting Kernersville Little Theatre. What a beautiful cause—and a perfect match. In this algorithmic era, live experiences like this one feel more essential than ever. I want them all: from the 6,000-seat Tanger Center to intimate, boutique gems like the Kernersville Little Theatre and everything in between. These are the spaces where our future stars begin to shine—and where audiences rediscover the power of presence, laughter, and imagination.
✨ Don’t miss this one. Come in costume if you will—and support a little theatre that’s helping keep the magic alive.

I truly hope Finch House (a stunning period property built in Jane Austen’s time) invites the troupe back and turns Pride and Prejudice into an annual tradition. It’s easy to imagine this becoming one of those must-do events for locals and visitors alike. A celebration of art, community, and emerging talent growing up right here in Greensboro.
Kernersville Little Theatre
Discover the remarkable history of Kernersville Little Theatre in the marvelous article in the Kernersville Magazine
EXCERPT: “The unique centerpiece of Kernersville, Körner’s Folly, was built in 1880. The children of Jule and Alice Körner loved the arts, partly due to their extensive travels, and this led to Alice hiring a music teacher for her children and their friends during the 1880s. From there grew an interest in other arts, eventually becoming “The Children’s Lyceum,” in which over forty children took classes, wrote and performed plays and music, and held recitals. This all took place on the top level of the Folly, where the orchestra pit is still to be found in the left corner of the space. Somewhere around 1897, that space became known as “Cupid’s Park,” known to be the first privately owned theatre in America. This is also considered the birthplace of Children’s Little Theatre, which became all the rage in the 1910s and 20s. While there was a time that Cupid’s Park was dormant, it has been used as a theatre for well over one hundred years.”
